This is a hackathon prototype of a change to RAC allocation. It is not a booking product and it is not official.

#1

Every data source on this site is synthetic. No train, PNR, passenger, payment or queue is real.

#2

The same-gender queue-position cost is derived from seed data, not a live RAC queue.

#3

The refund percentage (50%) is a design proposal, not Indian Railways policy. It is labelled a proposal wherever it appears.

#4

Chart preparation timing varies. Public sources cite 4 hours, 10 hours, and a 9–18 hour window. This demo uses 4 hours before departure and says so.

#5

The pairing engine is untested against real RAC queue volumes.

#6

Selection by a hackathon does not imply adoption by any government body.

#7

Berth Right is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Indian Railways, IRCTC, or CRIS.

#8

Mock OTP accepts any 6-digit code (try 000000). There are no real user accounts.
